Everyone is made to feel at home. Socialising is a huge part of our home, with a range of different communal areas, including a reading room, a computer room and three different lounges, there is plenty of opportunity for people to come together.
We make full use of our landscaped gardens and barbecue area, a place we call our oasis. Seeing is believing; you wouldn’t believe you were in Wanstead. This tranquil place is a haven for nature and a haven for us too. The garden can also be used all year round to provide lasting seasonal enjoyment for everyone.
Our varied and inclusive activities programme provides the perfect opportunity to learn something new or simple socialise. From craft and art sessions delivered by a local artist, to toe tapping armchair fitness classes, everyone has the opportunity to engage as much or as little as they like. No one is left out, for those who are unable to join us in the home’s communal areas, we take activities to them for their own enjoyment and companionship in their own room.
